We have been happily married since June 2007. Ever since that day, we have been eager to start a family of our own. Just before our 1 year anniversary, we found out that we were going to have a baby! We were SO excited and felt like we were definitely ready to be parents. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last long. I miscarried 9 weeks into the pregnancy. It was a very difficult time, but we had faith and hope that we would soon be blessed with another opportunity to start the family we had always dreamed of. Unfortunately, nearly 7 yrs later, we are still hoping for a child of our own. It has been very challenging for us emotionally but we know that we couldn’t have endured this long without the strength and love of our Savior Jesus Christ. We have felt his love and have received so many blessings. These years have given us the time to realize who we really are. We have been able to strengthen our marriage, strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ, and have been able to truly prepare ourselves the best we can to be great parents. We have realized that we may never physically be able to bear children of our own, and that is ok! We are so excited for the blessings of adoption and so look forward to the chance to become a mom and dad. We also look forward to meeting you and for developing a lasting friendship. If you would like to contact us, please leave a comment on any of our posts, find us on facebook- Kent and Amy's Adoption Page, or email us at a.frost4@gmail.com. Thank you again for considering us, and we hope to hear from you soon!

Kent's little sister, Mckele, got married this weekend! So we took a trip to Gilbert for all the festivities. It was a super busy weekend. We spent Friday evening setting up for the reception, and then all day Saturday we were busy with the wedding. Mckele and Kevin got married Saturday morning, we took pictures afterward in the heat, then we went to the luncheon, went back to Kent's parents house for a quick nap because we were exhausted, then to the church for the reception, and then take-down right after. Even though it was busy, it was such a great weekend, and was really nice to see all the Frost family and some friends we haven't seen in awhile!
We were also really excited to spend the weekend in our home! We left our house in Gilbert vacant, since our move here to Thatcher is just temporary. We were sleeping at our house Friday night and woke up really early in the morning because we were sweating! Kent went out to check the A/C and it was broken!!! 110 degree heat with no A/C..... not so fun! We called a repairman right away, but he told us we need a new one. Luckily we have lots of family in Gilbert willing to let us stay with them =). By the time the repairman left, there were only minutes left before we had to be at the temple, but we made it there just in time. Here are some pictures from the wedding! (All pictures were taken with my phone, by amateur photographers =) No cropping or editing here! )

This weekend was the Pioneer Days Celebration. It was such a fun and eventful weekend! It started off Friday night with a variety show that my sister Sarah was in charge of. It was such a great show with a lot of talent. Some of my nieces and nephews even sang as well as my sister and brother in law. Saturday started out with a 5k run at 6am. My sister Jennifer decided last minute to join me in the run. I was so proud of her for completing her first ever 5K run! She did awesome! That afternoon, my niece and nephew Austin and Aubrey, played in a coed 3 on 3 basketball tournament. It was so fun watching them. Austin's team even won the championship! Aubrey's team would have played them in the championship but lost their previous game at the very end in sudden death. Austin is the cute little one in the middle. They all dyed their hair blue for the tournament. They were both the smallest on their team but they still played really well. Later that evening we went to the parade and then finished off the day with BBQ and fireworks at the college. I had my dad take the picture of Kent and I, and all of them turned out blurry =). But all in all, I have to say it was a pretty fun day!

Fun in the Sun

Spent yesterday with my nieces and nephews at the splash pad! We are living in Thatcher, AZ for a temporary job transfer. Kent is working up at the mine in Morenci, AZ which is about an hour from Thatcher, but there is nowhere to live in Morenci so we get to live here instead! Its a plus for us since most of my family lives here. It has been so nice getting to spend so much time with them, and being able to see these cute little faces all the time!
