We have been happily married since June 2007. Ever since that day, we have been eager to start a family of our own. Just before our 1 year anniversary, we found out that we were going to have a baby! We were SO excited and felt like we were definitely ready to be parents. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last long. I miscarried 9 weeks into the pregnancy. It was a very difficult time, but we had faith and hope that we would soon be blessed with another opportunity to start the family we had always dreamed of. Unfortunately, nearly 7 yrs later, we are still hoping for a child of our own. It has been very challenging for us emotionally but we know that we couldn’t have endured this long without the strength and love of our Savior Jesus Christ. We have felt his love and have received so many blessings. These years have given us the time to realize who we really are. We have been able to strengthen our marriage, strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ, and have been able to truly prepare ourselves the best we can to be great parents. We have realized that we may never physically be able to bear children of our own, and that is ok! We are so excited for the blessings of adoption and so look forward to the chance to become a mom and dad. We also look forward to meeting you and for developing a lasting friendship. If you would like to contact us, please leave a comment on any of our posts, find us on facebook- Kent and Amy's Adoption Page, or email us at a.frost4@gmail.com. Thank you again for considering us, and we hope to hear from you soon!

Unfortunately I had to work today while Kent was at home. My sister Emily needed a babysitter for her 3 girls for a couple hours so Kent quickly agreed to watch them. I called him when I was leaving work and he told me just got finished their tea party. This is what I saw when I got home. He was caring for their babies while they watched a show. Kent is so good with kids and they all love him. He is going to be such a great dad.

This weekend I left my sweet husband home all alone and I went to Phoenix with my sisters to go to Time Out For Women. I had never gone before and was a little hesitant on spending the weekend with 5000 women, all jammed in one room, and sitting on hard chairs. But it ended up being such a great experience! There were lots of great speakers and the entertainment was wonderful! Here is a little recap....

Unfortunately we are missing my sister Emily, but here are my other sisters (Left to Right: Me, Jennifer, Sarah, Julie)
Hillary Weeks was the performer all day Saturday. She has always been one of my favorites!
Friday night after TOFW we went to get frozen yogurt. It was SOOO delicious!
This was after lunch on Saturday. We ate at this really good pizza place in Phoenix. I could eat pizza for every meal =)

Halloween!

Last night was Halloween. Honestly, I am not a huge fan. If I had to get rid of one holiday, that would definitely be it! However, there is one reason why I like Halloween, and that is the fact that it marks the start of the real holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas =). But we try to make the best of it, so we went trick or treating with my sister, Jennifer, and her family. The weather was beautiful and the kids had fun, so that made it worth it. Then my brother, Brian, and his family came over and his son was dressed as Nacho Libre. It was hilarious! So all in all, it was a pretty good day!

My mom has a daycare and she had a Halloween party for them. My mom has been babysitting for as long as I can remember and she is AMAZING with them. They all love her so much!
